PRIVACY AND COOKIE POLICY
The Piano Gallery will never pass the information you give us on to a third party except when applying for finance on your behalf and the essential details our delivery partners require to deliver your piano. When placing your order the information you give us will only be used to process your order. Online orders are processed by our eCommerce provider Shopify, one of the world's largest eCommerce providers. Credit/Debit card payments are provided by Shopify Checkout. www.shopify.com
We will only use your contact details to communicate with you in regard to your order and only for future promotional communications if you have ticked the box that allows us to do so.
GDPR - INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We will require your details during the checkout process but they will only be used in relation to your purchase. We use Google Analytics along with Shopify's own analytics to track certain information such as the users geographical location and where in the world a user arrived at our website. We are not able to personally identify individuals from this information - you are just an unknown number on a graph.
We ask for your name and address at the till point as is required for being able to process your order efficiently.
We treat your data care and it is kept securely with Shopify (shopify.com) within our account in relation to your order.
We will only ever share your details with our delivery partners and when requested, our finance partners - if you have requested finance.
We will never send you unsolicited emails and will delete personal details when asked to do so

OUR PIANO TEACHER AND TUNER DIRECTORIES
We publish two free directories on this website, the UK Piano Teachers Directory and the UK Piano Tuners Directory. This section explains how we handle the information in them. Everything above concerns customers who buy from us. This section is different, because most of the people listed in our directories are not our customers.
What we publish. Each listing shows the teacher's or tuner's name or business name, the area they cover, their training, qualifications or professional memberships, the services they offer, and the contact details they use for work. That is usually a business email address, a work telephone number, a website, or a professional profile page.
Where it comes from. Most listings are compiled by us from information the teacher or tuner already publishes about their own work, such as their own website or their entry on a professional association register. We only use contact details that the person has published themselves for the purpose of being contacted about work. We do not publish home addresses. Some listings are added at the person's own request.
Why we publish it. We run these directories as a free public resource for people looking for a piano teacher or a piano tuner. Our lawful basis for publishing is legitimate interests. We take the view that a professional who publishes their working contact details in order to attract enquiries would reasonably expect to appear in a directory of that profession. We charge nothing, we take no commission, and a listing is not an endorsement.
Your choices. If you are listed and would prefer not to be, we will take your entry down. You do not have to give a reason. You can also ask us to correct or amend anything in your entry. There is no charge to be listed and no charge to be removed. Email sales@thepianogallery.co.uk and we will action it promptly, normally within a few working days.
Your rights. You have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, and to object to us publishing it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled a request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Terms and Conditions
Payment
Orders placed via our site using debit or credit cards will have the payment amount debited to the customers card at point of purchase. Should there be an unforeseen issue or delay with the piano purchased which means it is not as depicted on our website then the customers will be contacted and advised asap. At this point the payment can be refunded immediately or the customer can decide if they wish to keep the order - for example any delays in dispatch. Pianos and any other goods supplied remain the property of Piano Gallery LTD until payment is received.
Delivery
We make every effort to ensure that pianos listed on our website are in stock and available. As we offer a pre-delivery preparation of the piano we do like to have the time to do this before the piano is dispatched. Delivery is then undertaken by ourselves or one of our professional piano delivery providers.
Damage During Delivery
Many of our pianos are 'pre owned' some of our collectable, classic pianos being over 100 years old. We make every attempt to detail any blemishes. If damage is caused during delivery we must be informed within 24 hours and if it was the fault of our delivery company we will rectify. We would also expect to have been informed by the professionals we use in this case.
Cancellation of Orders
Customers have a statutory 14 day cooling off period from the day on which they receive the piano. During this period return requests can be made by email and the Vendor will issue an RMA number. Goods must be in the original condition. The piano can be returned at the customer’s expense or we can arrange for collection at cost.
The Piano Gallery reserve the right to cancel any order placed by a customer if we are no longer able to supply the piano or we suspect the transaction to be fraudulent.
Defective Goods Within Guarantee
All of our pianos are supplied with a guarantee. This varies from 2 to 5 years depending on the piano. The guarantee is subject to terms and conditions that can be discussed by contacting the shop at sales@thepianogallery.co.uk
